What’s different here

Assurance takes longer than design

Getting a design through a departmental assurance process usually takes longer than producing the design. Because of this, the plan needs to allow for design authority review, assurance panels and fixed change windows from the first week.

We’ve worked through these processes with the organisations above. We know what a design authority will ask, what evidence an assurance panel expects, and how change control works when the change window is fixed and the service is public-facing.

Assurance and governance

Architecture documentation in the form your design authority expects, and policy evidence exported from the platform whenever it’s requested.

Secure by Design

Departments deliver under Secure by Design, and the way we work matches it: controls deployed in the platform, risk decisions recorded with an owner, and evidence produced by the platform itself for each assessment.

UK region design as the default, with residency stated for each service: where a workload, its backups and its logs live, and where AI model inference runs, documented before an assurance panel asks.
